Lithium-ion Battery Fires
The number of lithium-ion battery-based fires is growing with enormous frequency internationally, particularly when it comes to e-bikes and e-scooters.

All fires are dangerous, however, lithium-ion battery fires can be particularly violent. This is because they release a toxic, flammable vapour that can keep the fire going while also causing harm to those nearby.
Lithium-Ion batteries are commonly found in cellphones, power tools, digital cameras, laptops, children’s toys, e-cigarettes, small and large appliances, tablets and e-readers, e-bikes and e-scooters and even electric cars and buses.
