If a fire takes hold in the air gap of the eaves or facade, it is often difficult to put out and can be devastating for the progress of the fire. The Inca WFS net Fire Suppression for eaves and facades is a new and safe fire sealing system for air gaps in the facade and eaves. It is suitable for applications where air movement is needed, but where a completely tight construction (EI) is immediately desired in the event of a fire.

The system is fire tested and classified with fire class EI 30 / EI 45 according to the latest standards (EN 1366-4:2021, EN 13501-2:2016) and has a Swedish Type Type Approval – TG 1818.

The INCA WFS net® fire network is designed for use in air gaps between 25-45 mm behind the façade cladding, at the height of the sill, level with the soffit, and in the ventilated eaves. Easy to retrofit in the eaves! Fire tested at DBI for wooden structures.

Fire class EI45 – Type approved

The INCA WFS net® fire network is a new and safe fire sealing system with fire class EI 45 for air gaps in façade and eaves, applications where air movement is needed in the initial position, but where a completely sealed structure (EI) is immediately desired in the event of fire. INCA WFS net® has a Swedish type approval.

For air gaps 25-45 mm

INCA WFS net® is designed for use in air gaps between 25-45 mm behind the façade cladding, at the height of the sill, level with the soffit, and in the ventilated eaves.

Easy to assemble

The system is easy to assemble and consists of a high-performance fire-swelling metal mesh in combination with an aluminum insect net.

The system ensures the necessary ventilation of the air gap, and the function of the insect net is primarily to create a protection zone against falling dirt and other material above the fire-trapping metal mesh.

The INCA WFS net® fire network operates with maximum function without the risk of fire spreading above the fire limit created. In the event of a fire, stick flames, sparks and heat get trapped in the fire-swelling network. At 150°C, the material begins to expand (50 times its own thickness) and quickly seals the openings of the net, preventing extensive fire spread.

Retrofit/retrofit in eaves

If the raw sheet metal shutters are already in place on the roof, it can be tricky to access to mount a fire protection in the eaves air gap. With the INCA WFS net® fire network, installation is smooth and easy.
